Opportunity:

OT - Rehab Therapy

Job Details:

* Work 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM with rotating weekends
* Patient ratio of 4:1
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting required
* Hospital and inpatient rehab experience preferred
* Experience with stroke evaluation and treatment required
* Perform manual therapy for neuro re-education, therapeutic exercise, functional activity, neuromuscular re-education, self-care, and functional electrical stimulation
* Work within a team of 10 OT/PT teams, 3 speech therapists, and 1 tech
* Utilize equipment including Sara Lifts, Ceiling Lifts, Bioness, and Diego
* Document using Meditech Expanse system
* Apply AIDET communication and immediate service recovery standards for patient experience
* May float to acute hospital if rehab census is low
* Dress code: Black scrub bottoms and royal blue top preferred

This inpatient rehabilitation facility operates a 44-bed rehab therapy unit within a main hospital building, holding Joint Commission Stroke Certification. The unit is staffed by a collaborative team of occupational and physical therapists, speech therapists, and support technicians, providing specialized rehabilitative care to patients recovering from strokes and other neurological conditions.
