Open Position: RN - Acute Med Surg Acute Care

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2166.88

Opportunity:

RN - Telemetry

Job Details:

* 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
* Every other weekend requirement
* Holidays as needed
* Patient ratios of 1:5, possibly 1:6 for both days and nights
* 44-bed unit with a staff of 40
* CNA support available at a ratio of 1:8, generally 1:10, also utilized as sitters
* Telemetry monitored on a different unit
* Floating required to all acute care and cardio units for medical patients, or EC for acute care patient holds
* Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
* EMR system: Meditech (experience preferred but not required)
* General orientation: 1 week including EMR training
* Floor-specific orientation: 2 days
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS (both must be AHA)
* BSN not required
* 1 year of experience required with 1 travel assignment
* Must reside within a strict 75-mile radius from the hospital as verified by driver's license

The facility provides a structured and supportive environment for nursing staff with dedicated nurse aide support and a comprehensive orientation program to help traveling nurses transition smoothly into their roles.
