Job Details:

* 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:00 PM
* Every other weekend requirement
* On-call low census requirement
* Holidays rotate with permanent staff
* Cancellation policy: 12 hours every 2 weeks
* Patient ratio of 1:6 with CNA support (generally 1:8, up to 1:10)
* Charge nurse present on all units
* Floating required - MedSurg floats to Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care, and JFW; ICU/ED floats to Cardiology, ICU, and ED
* Must be flexible with changing assignments during the shift
* Floor-specific orientation provided
* Telemetry monitored on different units
* Ventilator experience required: BIPAP, CPAP, Vapotherm, and Draeger
* Charting system: MEDITECH
* Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
* 1 year of experience required with 1 prior travel assignment
* BSN not required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS
* Acute care setting
* Strict 75-mile radius rule applies

This facility is a large 483-bed main campus hospital providing comprehensive acute care services. The facility operates with 24/7 respiratory therapy and pharmacy support, an IV team with PICC capabilities, and has OB and neonatology specialists in-house. The hospital maintains a well-structured staffing model with charge nurses across all units and certified nursing aide support, ensuring quality patient care across a variety of specialties including Med/Surg, Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Cardiology, ICU, and the Emergency Department.
