Open Position: RN - Acute Med Surg Acute Care

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2166.88

Opportunity:

RN - Medical Surgical

Job Details:

* 12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
* Every other weekend requirement
* Holiday shifts as needed
* Patient ratios of 1:5, possibly 1:6 for both days and nights
* CNA support available at 1:8 to 1:10 ratio, also utilized as sitters
* 44-bed unit staffed with 40 nurses
* Telemetry monitored on a separate unit
* Floating required to all acute care, cardiology, and EC for acute care patient holds
* EMR system: Meditech (experience preferred but not required)
* General orientation of 1 week including EMR training, followed by 2 days of floor-specific orientation
* Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS (both must be AHA)
* 1 year of experience required with at least 1 travel assignment
* Must reside within a strict 75-mile radius from the hospital based on address listed on driver's license
* Driver's license must be submitted with application

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a 44-bed medical surgical unit with a dedicated nursing staff. The facility utilizes Meditech as its electronic medical records system and provides comprehensive support including certified nursing aides. The unit offers telemetry capabilities monitored through a separate unit and maintains a structured orientation program to ensure staff are well-prepared for their roles.
