Job Details:

* 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:00 PM
* Every other weekend requirement
* On-call low census requirement
* Holidays rotate with permanent staff
* Typical nurse to patient ratio of 1:6
* CNA support available at generally 1:8, up to 1:10 ratio
* Must be flexible with changing assignments during the shift
* Floating required between units - MedSurg floats to Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care, and JFW; ICU/ED floats to Cardiology, ICU, and ED
* Floor specific orientation provided
* Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
* Telemetry monitored on different units
* Vents include BIPAP, CPAP, Vapotherm, and Draeger
* IV Team not available, but PICC team is available
* Respiratory therapy available 24/7
* Pharmacy available 24/7
* Charting system: MEDITECH
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ASLS, NIHSS (ICU/ED); BLS, ASLS or NIHSS (Med/Surg)
* Minimum 2 years of experience required with at least 1 prior travel assignment
* Must be within a 75-mile radius
* BSN not required
* Cancellation policy: 12 hours every 2 weeks

This is a large acute care hospital system operating a 483-bed main campus and a 124-bed north campus, providing comprehensive medical services to the region. The facility supports a wide range of specialties and services, including telemetry, ICU, emergency department, med/surg, oncology, orthopedics, and neurology. The organization maintains robust 24/7 support services including respiratory therapy and pharmacy, as well as charge nurses across all units to ensure quality patient care.
