RN - L&D

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM
* Labor and Delivery unit located on the 5th floor of the main building
* 17-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:3, fluctuating based on acuity
* Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 5-6 RNs, and 1 OB Scrub Tech
* Work with equipment including EFM (TOCCO, US), Doppler, and Novii
* EMR system: Meditech/CPN
* Perform typical procedures including labor, C-section, PIT, Magnesium drip, IA, ECV, and Cerclage placement
* Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital L&D experience required
* Required certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS, EFM-C or AWHONN
* Meditech experience preferred
* CEFM and RNC-OB certifications preferred
* Willingness to precept preferred
* Strong teamwork and communication skills with staff and providers required
* Exceptional patient experience skills required

This facility is a well-established acute care hospital offering a comprehensive Labor and Delivery unit equipped with modern technology and a dedicated team of experienced staff. The unit supports a collaborative environment with strong teamwork between nurses, charge nurses, and OB Scrub Technicians across both day and night shifts. The facility utilizes advanced electronic fetal monitoring equipment and a robust EMR system to ensure high-quality patient care throughout the labor and delivery process.
