RN - Telemetry

Job Details:

* Previous telemetry experience required
* Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
* Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards
* Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting
* Assess and prioritize care for patients with complex problems including physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs
* Perform bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plan
* Collaborate with patient and family to prepare and update plan of care
* Consult with appropriate resources regarding patients with complex care issues
* Communicate relevant information to promote continuity of care
* Participate in interdisciplinary team discussions and performance improvement activities
* Assess and anticipate discharge needs of individual patients and families
* Required education: Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited school of nursing (BSN or MSN preferred)
* Required certifications: Licensed Registered Nurse in North Carolina, Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (AHA or ARC)
