Opportunity:

Cardiac Sonographer

Job Details:

* Either schedule available: 5x8 shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 4x10 shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
* Perform cardiac ultrasound evaluations
* Communicate acute findings to Cardiologist and route studies for interpretation
* Obtain pertinent patient health history prior to examination
* Prepare procedure room and equipment for daily use and ensure timely and efficient room preparation between procedures
* Troubleshoot and identify equipment problems and report to appropriate supervisor
* May perform staff training and education
* Minimum 4 years of experience required
* Required Education: Accredited Associate's Degree in Sonography, Radiology, or a related field, OR completion of a 12-month ultrasound program
* Required certifications: BLS
* One of the following certifications required: RDCS certified through ARDMS, or RCS, ACS, and RCCS certified through CCI
* Must be able to read, write, and speak English
