Open Position: RN - Med Surg

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2216.56

Opportunity:

RN - IMC/PCU

Job Details:

* Minimum of 2 years current IMC experience required
* Must be willing to take IMC patients
* PCU/IMC skills checklist must be submitted with application
* Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards
* Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting
* Demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex problems including physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety aspects of care
* Perform bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plan
* Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs
* Assess and anticipate discharge needs of individual patients and families
* Collaborate with patient and family to prepare or update the plan of care
* Participate in interdisciplinary team discussions and performance improvement activities
* Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (AHA or ARC)
* Must hold active Registered Nurse license in the state of North Carolina
* Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited school of nursing required
* BSN or MSN preferred
* English proficiency required (read, write, speak)
