Open Position: RN - CCU

Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab / Electrophysiology

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday day shift with 8.5 hour shifts
* If stress testing experience is present, will rotate through weekend call - one weekend per month and holidays
* No floating to other units or departments
* 1:1 nurse to patient ratio
* 2 rooms plus patient bedside in hospital room setting
* Acute care setting
* Perform and assist with Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) and Cardioversions - approximately 8 per day
* Stress testing experience preferred but not required
* Scan approximately 40 patients per day with running both magnets into the evening
* Collaborate with charge nurse and providers
* Administer conscious sedation and recover patients post procedure
* Perform rhythm interpretation and strong patient assessments
* Utilize equipment including Defibrillator (Life Pak), EPIC and CUPID charting, and Accudose
* Dress code: Sanford Navy Blue scrubs
* Minimum 2 years of Critical Care experience required with Cardiac experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA)
* North Dakota nursing license required
* BSN not required

This acute care facility operates a specialized cardiac unit focused on delivering high-quality cardiovascular care to its patient population. The department is equipped with advanced cardiac monitoring and imaging technology, supporting a high volume of daily procedures including TEEs and cardioversions. The unit provides a brief orientation program and maintains a structured, collaborative environment where nurses work closely with charge nurses and providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
