Surgical Tech - OR

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday shifts from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM with no weekends or call required
* 8, possibly 10 hour days with call 1 to 2 days a week and every 3 to 4 weekends in some cases
* Must be available to stay late as needed as an extension of the regular shift (not considered call back)
* Perform surgical and operating room duties to assist the surgeon and other health care team members in providing effective surgical care
* Primary focus on neuro cases including craniotomies and spine procedures
* Also assist with orthopedics, ENT, plastics, general surgery, and some trauma cases
* Experience with robotics required
* Must be comfortable working in a facility with 25 OR suites averaging 75 to 100 cases per day
* Experience working in a large hospital or level 1 trauma center required
* Must have experience in a busy acute care facility with more than 15 OR suites
* Proficiency with Zimmer, Depuy, Biomet, or Stryker total replacement systems required (at least one system)
* Charting completed in EPIC
* Scrubs provided in Ceil Blue
* Potential to float to other campuses as needed
* Must badge in and out at the facility
* Minimum 2 years of surgical tech experience required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
* Must be on the North Dakota Board of Nursing Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) Registry at least one week prior to start
* BSN not required
