Job Details:

* Variable shift schedule, 4 x 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday rotating days
* Shift times vary: 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM, or 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM
* 1 to 2 nights per week with call required
* 1 weekend per month required
* Minimum 2 years of recent operating room experience required
* Must have OR circulating experience
* Must have EPIC experience
* Assist surgeons and anesthesiologist and coordinate flow of equipment, supplies, and staff during surgical procedures
* Ensure patient safety throughout the perioperative phase of care
* Participate in patient care planning, assessment, and nursing treatment
* Competently circulate in the operating room during surgical procedures
* Apply principles of aseptic technique consistently
* Safely operate all equipment routinely utilized in the operating room
* Prepare patients for surgery including safe and appropriate anatomical positioning
* Perform pre, intra, and post procedure patient care planning and assessment
* Safely handle and dispose of biohazardous materials from operative procedures
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Preferred certifications: PALS, CNOR
* Associate degree or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
* Current RN license in state of practice required
