Opportunity:

Medical Staff Credentialing Specialist

Job Details:

* Day shift schedule working 5 x 8-hour shifts per week
* No on-call responsibilities
* Onsite preferred; remote candidates must reside in California
* Minimum 3 years of experience in medical staff services or related field required
* Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) certification required
* Current BLS certification required
* EPIC experience required
* Perform core credentialing lifecycle functions including initial appointments, reappointments, data collection, and primary source verification
* Manage privileging and credentials file maintenance ensuring files are error-free, accurate, complete, and processed timely
* Support providers through the onboarding process including computer access, necessary training, orientation, and badging
* Maintain current knowledge of medical staff bylaws, rules, regulations, and hospital policies related to regulatory agency requirements
* Assist in maintaining the medical staff database while upholding strict confidentiality standards
* Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience preferred
