TRAVEL - Behavioral Health Tech

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Assigned to Adolescent Psychiatric Unit on the first floor
* Patient ratios of 1:8/9 on both day and night shifts (estimated and never guaranteed)
* Perform patient observation and direct care support
* Monitor client behavior and provide treatment under supervision of licensed mental health professionals
* Operate Welsh Allen VS Machines and use Meditech EMR system
* Minimum 6 months of current Behavioral Health Technician experience required
* BLS certification required
* CPI certification required
* Strong Behavioral Health Inpatient experience preferred
* Crisis management experience preferred
* Must demonstrate flexibility and willingness to handle varied patient acuity
* Team-player attitude and compassion required
* Care for patients with varied mental health issues in a collaborative team environment

Facility:

This mental health and wellness center is a 120-bed facility staffed by a dedicated team of approximately 50 professionals, including RNs and Mental Health Technicians on both day and night shifts. The facility has achieved Magnet Designation three times, reflecting its commitment to nursing excellence and high-quality patient care. The organization fosters a family-oriented environment where all staff work together to provide comprehensive care for patients with diverse mental health needs.
