Opportunity:

Pharmacy Technician

Job Details:

* Day shift position working 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 4 x 10-hour shifts
* Rotating schedule Monday through Friday with some weekends required
* Weekend shifts required at least once per month
* Perform non-discretionary, technical duties under the direct supervision of a licensed, attending pharmacist
* Compound and dispense medications as prescribed by physicians or other qualified prescribers in accordance with state and federal laws
* Inpatient experience with IV compounding experience preferred
* Must have EPIC experience
* California Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration required
* Certificate of completion from a recognized technician training program required
* Recent hospital experience preferred
* At least two years of recent experience in the field required
* Current BLS certification required
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
* Must be able to deal with others in a pleasant, professional manner
* Strong organizational skills required
* Equipment used includes cell phone, computer, printer, calculator, copy machine, and other general office equipment
* Position requires frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing, reaching above shoulders, sitting, walking, standing, and performing repetitive hand motions
* Must be able to occasionally lift boxes and/or supplies weighing up to 25 pounds
