Opportunity:

Cardiac Sonographer

Job Details:

* Day shift position working 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* 40 hours per week
* Set up ultrasound equipment, attach electrodes to patient chest and equipment, and document cardiac data and measurements
* Create images of the heart, cardiac chambers, valves, and vessels to assess heart functions and diagnoses
* Collaborate closely with cardiologists, performing technical aspects of examinations, evaluating findings, and reporting results
* Interview patients and review medical records to adapt sonographic techniques
* Perform echocardiography on treadmill patients to assess heart functions
* Maintain equipment and inventories, restock supplies, and enter patient information into appropriate systems
* EPIC experience required
* Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting required
* Currently certified or eligible to be certified with a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification from ARDMS or CCI required
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
* Echocardiography (ECG) certification preferred
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
