Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac ICU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM
* Located on the 3rd floor of the main building
* 16-bed Cardiac ICU unit
* Patient ratio of 1 RN to 2 patients
* Night shift staffing includes 1 Charge RN, 8 RNs, and 1 PCT
* Work with equipment including cardiac monitoring systems, ventilators, IV pumps, tube feed pumps, and Swan catheters
* EMR system: Meditech
* Perform and assist with procedures including intubations and central line placement
* 24/7 physician coverage available including intensivist, neuro-intensivist, and trauma surgeon
* Minimum 1 year of current acute care ICU hospital experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH
* Experience with neuro population and medical ICU population preferred
* Prior Meditech experience preferred
* Collaborative and team-oriented personality a strong fit for this unit

This facility is a full-service acute care hospital offering a wide range of specialized services including cardiac intensive care. The unit operates with a dedicated team of 60 staff members and maintains 24/7 physician coverage with intensivists, neuro-intensivists, and trauma surgeons to ensure comprehensive patient care. The facility is equipped with modern technology and maintains strong staffing ratios to support high-quality patient outcomes.
