Open Position: Sonographer - Echo Sonographer

Opportunity:

Cardiac Sonographer

Job Details:

* Shifts start between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM with variable end times
* Staffed/on-call one weekend per month alongside another staff member
* On-call one day per week
* Will work alone only when called in after hours
* Rotate between two separate campuses, never changing within the same day
* Orientation begins in clinic to learn protocol and expectations, then transitions to hospital for way-finding (no longer than two weeks)
* Perform inpatient and outpatient transthoracic echocardiograms
* Perform occasional stress echocardiograms and assist with transesophageal echocardiograms
* Utilize equipment including Philips Epiqs, Affinity s, and IE33s, as well as GE E95 and Vivid E9 machines
* Use Epiq Cupid for reporting and Sectra Cardiology PACS
* Must badge in and out at facility
* Scrub color required: Gray
* Minimum 3 years of experience required
* Graduate of an accredited program required
* Pediatrics experience required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), RDCS or RCS, NDMIRT (or willingness to obtain)
* Trauma Level 1 facility
* Acute care setting

This large healthcare organization operates multiple hospital campuses and outpatient clinic locations, totaling 500 beds across all facilities and 5 outpatient clinic rooms. The facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center providing acute care services and houses a comprehensive cardiac imaging department equipped with advanced echocardiography technology and modern cardiology reporting systems.
