Job Details:

* Work 4 ten-hour days with call in rotation
* Weeknight call one night every 4 weeks from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Weekend shift call on either a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday for up to 24 hours per 3-month contract
* 2 shift cancellation policy per 13-week contract
* Experience in all areas of the OR required
* Will cross train to Endoscopy
* Work in a facility with 11 total rooms: 8 OR suites and 3 Endo suites handling approximately 65 cases per day
* Cases include Vascular (excluding open hearts), General, Ortho, Neuro, Eyes, and ENT
* Experience with DaVinci Robot is a strong plus as the facility recently began using it
* Operate Baxter pumps, Phillips, and Dynomap robots
* Charting system: EPIC
* Must reside outside of a 50-mile radius - copy of unexpired driver's license required with submission
* Trauma Level 2, Acute Care setting
* Required certifications: BLS Certification
* ACLS recommended due to modern sedation practices

This acute care facility operates a comprehensive surgical department featuring 11 procedural rooms, including dedicated OR and Endoscopy suites, handling a high volume of approximately 65 cases per day. The facility offers a wide range of surgical specialties including Vascular, General, Orthopedic, Neurology, ENT, and Eye procedures, and has recently expanded its capabilities with the addition of the DaVinci Robot surgical system.
