Open Position: Certified Surgical Tech - Certified Surgical Tech CVOR

Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Operating Room

Job Details:

* Scheduled in accordance with facility policy, working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
* CVOR scheduling: 8-10 call shifts (12-hour Monday-Friday) and 24-hour Saturday & Sunday call shifts on a 4-week rotation
* Main OR scheduling: 3 call shifts (12-hour) every 4 weeks with days and nights available
* Patient ratio of 1:1
* Unit staffing includes 1 RN/1 CST per room, turnover staff, 1 charge RN, and 4:1 anesthesia coverage with in-house night shift
* Cardiac experience required with a minimum of 2 years of experience
* Circulating RN responsibilities in General OR to include Ortho, Neuro, Plastics, Vascular, Trauma, Robotic, OB/GYN, and Urology cases
* CVOR responsibilities include complex thoracic cases such as AAA repairs, valve replacements, and CABG, as well as complex open and endovascular cases including bypass, angio, and stents
* Must have general circulating knowledge including positioning, prepping, and facilitating cases across all surgical areas
* CVOR skills required: positioning, prepping, endovascular equipment, and facilitating complex open thoracic and vascular cases
* Equipment used includes XI Robot, advanced spine technology, and Mako joint robot
* Documentation system: Meditech
* No floating policy required
* Patient experience requirements: AIDET
* Required certifications: BLS, CST
* Hospital-provided scrubs required
