Opportunity:

Med/Surg RN

Job Details:

* 4x12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM (3x12 schedule will also be considered)
* Patient ratio of 1:6-1:7
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* Floating within scope to meet facility needs may be required
* Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
* Travel experience required - first-time travelers will not be considered
* South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
* Telemetry experience preferred, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
* Charting system: Epic
* Scrub color: Royal Blue
* Parking available at no cost
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Block scheduling may be requested prior to assignment but is not guaranteed
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of candidacy submission
* Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams

Facility:

This short-term acute care hospital operates with 97 staffed beds and 41 beds on the Med/Surg unit, serving a daily census of approximately 36 patients. The facility treats adults and geriatric patients across a wide range of diagnoses including CHF, COPD, CVA, sepsis, pneumonia, dysrhythmias, post-surgical care, and wound care. Interdisciplinary support services include physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, social services, phlebotomy, and interpretation services.
