Open Position: RN - Med Surg Tele

Opportunity:

MS/Tele RN

Job Details:

* Night shift position working 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Schedule options of 3x12s or 4x12s available
* Patient ratio of 1:6 to 1:7
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs between like units or sister facilities
* 2 years of experience required; travel experience required, first-time travelers not accepted
* Med/Surg experience required
* Telemetry experience preferred, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
* South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Charting system: Epic
* Scrub color: Royal Blue
* Parking at no cost
* Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Attendance at staff meetings is required
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics with a variety of Med/Surg diagnoses
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy

This short-term acute care hospital operates with 97 staffed beds and 41 rooms dedicated to Med/Surg and Telemetry care. The facility supports a comprehensive interdisciplinary care model and utilizes Epic for electronic charting. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and provides robust support services to its clinical staff and patient population.
