Job Details:

* 4x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM; manager will consider 3x12s
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* Patient ratio of 1:4, with potential flex up to 1:5 during ED surge or high volumes
* Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Approximately 80 patient visits per day across 27 rooms
* Holiday rotation as required
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs
* Previous charge experience required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
* Preferred certifications: TNCC
* Scrub color: Royal Blue
* Charting system: Epic
* Free parking on site
* Experience with general emergency department (combined adult/pedi) and triage required
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and more
* Attendance at staff meetings is required
* Block scheduling approval can be requested prior to assignment but is not guaranteed
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of submission; approval based on facility needs

This short-term acute care hospital operates a 97-bed facility offering comprehensive emergency department services for a diverse patient population. The emergency department features 27 rooms and sees approximately 80 patient visits per day, providing care to patients of all ages from neonates to geriatrics. The facility offers robust interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, social services, and more, ensuring a collaborative and well-resourced environment for healthcare professionals.
