Opportunity:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Job Details:
* Day shift from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday (blocked scheduling)
* Rotating night call requirement
* Every 3rd weekend required
* No float requirement
* Patient ratio of 1:4
* 40 hours of unit orientation
* Royal Blue scrubs required
* Minimum 5 years of experience required
* Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Required certifications: ARRT N and CNMT
* Previous charge experience preferred; Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
* Proficient use of Siemens equipment required
* Experience with EPIC and Pyxis systems required
* Must be comfortable working in adult, clinic, hospital, nuclear cardiology, and pediatric settings
* Must be able to perform procedures including gastric emptying, HIDA scan, and MUGA scan
* Bone scan experience required: 3 phase, limited, and whole body
* Brain scan experience required: cerebral blood flow
* Liver/spleen scan experience required: liver imaging and liver scan-hemangioma
* Lung scan experience required: DTPA aerosol, perfusion, and ventilation/perfusion
* Renal flow experience required: flow/function, renal/perfusion, three phase, and with Lasix
* Shunt experience required: abdominal and ventricular
* Thyroid studies experience required: cancer survey, I-123 uptake scan, and uptake scan
* Tumor localization experience required: limited and whole body
* SPECT experience required: bone, brain, liver, renal, and sestamibi parathyroid scan
* Myocardial experience required: adenosine infusion, exercise/rest-multiple, and pharmacological stress
* Professional skills required: drawing venous blood, isolation precautions/PPE, starting and maintaining IVs, and storing/handling/disposal of radioactive materials

This facility is a well-established healthcare organization offering a broad range of diagnostic and imaging services across multiple care settings, including adult, pediatric, and nuclear cardiology. The nuclear medicine department operates with a daily census of 16 and four procedure rooms, supported by a robust interdisciplinary team including pharmacy, radiology, respiratory services, IV teams, rapid response teams, and more. The facility utilizes advanced systems and equipment to ensure high-quality patient care across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics.
