Job Details:

* Night shift position working 3x12-hour shifts per week
* 36 or 48 hours per week available
* Weekend coverage required
* Block scheduling type
* Minimum 3 years of experience required
* LTAC experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
* Staff will work both ICU (12 beds) and Med-Surg (35 beds) units
* Float to Med-Surg required at a 1:5 patient ratio
* Patient diagnoses include vent weaning, wound care, spinal cord injury, and trach/peg patients (18 years and older)
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* Required clinical skills include arterial line management, central line care, chest tube management, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, mechanical ventilation management, tracheostomy care, and weaning from mechanical ventilation, among others
* Pre-assignment testing and modules required to be completed within 48 hours of receiving login information
* Floating to other units and/or campuses may be required based on census needs
