Opportunity:

TRAVEL - CST - OR (701) - Rocky Mountain Surgery Center - 6:30A - 5P

Job Details:

* Day shift from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with huddle starting at 6:30 AM and most cases beginning at 7:00 AM
* Shift length depends on case needs, generally 8 to 10 hours per shift
* Work in a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center environment
* Patient ratio of one RN and one OR Tech per room
* Minimum 6 months of experience as a CST required
* BLS, NBSTA, and DORA certifications must be active
* Orthopedic experience preferred including ACL repairs, rotator cuff repairs, and knee scopes
* ENT experience preferred including septoplasty, SMR, tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, and stapedectomy
* Instrument room experience preferred
* Typical procedures include knee scopes, ACL repairs, rotator cuff repairs, vitrectomies, laparoscopic hernia repairs, laparoscopic cholecystectomies, bunionectomies, cataracts, slings, hysteroscopies, cystoscopies, and ophthalmology cases including cataract and retina procedures
* Equipment includes Stryker Towers, Hana table, Alcon Constellation/Centurion, Lumera 700, Stryker Power and scopes, and Neptunes
* Must be a team player with a positive attitude and reliable work ethic

This multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center is located near a major medical center and serves as a hub for general surgery, gastrointestinal, orthopedics, and pain management procedures. The facility has recently expanded its total joint program including total knees and total hips, as well as its ophthalmology line of business.
