Open Position: CT Technologist - CT Tech

Opportunity:

CT Tech / Rad Tech - Radiology

Job Details:

* Weekend day shift: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Float to X-Ray as needed
* Two techs staffed per shift covering X-Ray and CT for the ED and inpatients
* Some patient transport involved between units and the ED
* Radiologists are staffed off-site and available for questions via Perfect Serve secure paging
* Works within a primary stroke center environment
* Serves patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Required to float to other units or campuses as needed, limited to areas of documented competency
* Minimum 2 years of experience in the field required; first-time travelers considered based on experience
* Minimum 1 year of Epic (Radiant) EMR experience required
* Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
* Required certifications: ARRT R, ARRT CT, BLS, and SC Radiology license
* Required skills include: CT with and without contrast, X-Ray, musculoskeletal trauma, vascular chest imaging, radiation safety, isolation precautions/PPE, starting peripheral IVs, and preparation and administration of contrast media
* Scrub color: Hunter Green

Facility:

This healthcare facility is a primary stroke center offering comprehensive imaging services including CT and X-Ray coverage for both emergency department and inpatient populations. The facility operates with off-site radiologist support available via secure paging and utilizes Epic Radiant as its radiology information system. The organization prioritizes qualified, competency-verified staff and maintains a structured floating policy to ensure quality patient care across units and campuses.
