CT Tech Needed

Job Details:

* Friday through Sunday shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
* 13-week contract assignment
* Block scheduling type
* 40 orientation hours required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required, 3 years preferred
* First-time travelers accepted
* Patient ratio of 1:1 with approximately 20 visits per day across 2 rooms
* Treats patients of all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Epic charting system experience required
* Required certifications: ARRT (CT) and BLS
* Experience with 3D rendering techniques including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering
* Proficiency with a wide range of CT procedures including abdomen, chest, head, brain perfusion, cardiac imaging, musculoskeletal trauma, vascular chest, and pelvis imaging
* Experience with preparation and administration of contrast media required
* Starting peripheral IVs and venipuncture skills required
* Participation in biopsy and aspiration procedures required
* Experience with Philips iSite/Intellispace PACS system preferred
* Radiation safety knowledge required
* Candidates will float within the hospital as needed
* Two professional references completed within two years of current date required, completed by someone in a supervisory capacity
* Valid state or compact license required

This facility is a 100-bed community hospital offering comprehensive imaging and radiology services supported by an interdisciplinary team including respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, transportation, and unit secretarial support. The facility provides a wide range of CT imaging services across multiple patient populations and utilizes advanced PACS technology to support diagnostic imaging needs.
