Open Position: OT - Therapy Rehab Acute Care

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2568.60

Opportunity:

OT - Occupational Therapy

Job Details:

* 5x8 shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* Minimum two weekend days per month required
* No requested time off during the first two weeks of contract
* Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
* Provide OT services across critical care, trauma (Level 1), neuro (stroke center of excellence), ortho, oncology, pulmonary/renal, and cardiac units
* Fast-paced acute care environment with high complexity patients
* Document using EPIC charting system (required)
* Minimum 2 years of experience required, first-time travelers accepted
* Community hospital experience required
* Teaching hospital and Trauma Level 1 experience preferred
* Required Activities of Daily Living experience: acute disorder, adaptive equipment, assessment, chronic disorder, functional activities, pre-discharge planning, and standardized assessments
* Required orthopedic experience: hip fracture/total hip replacement, soft tissue injuries, and knee injuries/total knee replacement
* Required adult experience: amputee, arthritis, coma management, CVA rehab, dementia/Alzheimer's, hand injury, traumatic brain injury, lower/upper extremity, multiple sclerosis, nerve injury, Parkinson's disease, reattachment, spinal cord injury, and tendon repair
* Required certification: BLS
