Opportunity:

RN - Med/Surg Tele

Job Details:

* 3x12 night shifts schedule
* Every other weekend required
* 13-week contract with possibility of extension
* 2+ years of experience required
* Travel experience required
* Previous charge experience required
* Patient ratio of 5:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Block scheduling with unit unable to guarantee schedule requests, but will try to accommodate travelers
* Charting system: Cerner (experience required)
* Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, PALS
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Required skills include: accessing/managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, central line blood draw, continuous bladder irrigation, feeding tube care and management, heparin and insulin administration, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, cardiac and vasoactive drip management (no titration), non-invasive airway management, telemetry monitoring, tracheostomy care/management, wound care/wound vac, and PCA
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, and pharmacy
