Job Details:

* Day shift position with floating required as needed throughout the Kern County Network
* Float coverage includes multiple facilities within the network
* EPIC electronic health records experience required
* Bachelor's Degree in food and nutrition or equivalent required
* Master's Degree required only if eligibility for examination began on or after 1/1/24
* Dietetic internship or equivalent required
* Registered Dietitian (RD) certification required within 6 months of completion of residency program
* Current BLS certification required
* Minimum two years of recent experience in field required
* Experience as a Clinical Dietitian preferred
* Perform nutritional assessments and reassessments of patients to identify those at nutritional risk
* Develop and implement individualized nutritional plans of care including appropriate meal patterns and interventions
* Provide medical nutrition therapy administration in a safe and accurate manner with thorough documentation
* Deliver nutritional education to patients, families, and healthcare team members including dietetic interns
* Conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing nutritional assessments to evaluate patient response to care plans
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary team through effective communication and documentation of all interventions
* Orient and instruct new professional and ancillary personnel on job duties and clinical activities
