Opportunity:

Associate Caregiver Health RN - Outpatient Clinic RN

Job Details:

* 5x8-hour shifts, weekdays, day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* Schedule may change during flu season with shifts starting as early as 6:00 AM and ending as late as 7:00 PM
* Weekends most likely not required
* Float required between sister facilities, including St. Joseph Eureka and Redwood Memorial (Redwood Memorial twice per month)
* Travelers who refuse to float may risk termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
* Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Locals not accepted
* Pending licenses not accepted; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Required certifications: BLS, COHNS
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Scrub color: Solid Royal Blue
* Free parking available
* Patient age groups: Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
* Perform health screenings, fit testing, vaccinations, injury and illness prevention evaluations, and communicable disease exposure assessments
* Skills required include telephone triage, TB skin testing, immunizations, nebulizer treatments, obtaining vital signs, medication refills, referrals, scheduling appointments, patient teaching, workman's comp/injury reporting, and more
* Special equipment training includes CAPR and Portacount
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during submittal
* 2 professional references required, covering 1 year within the last 3 years

This acute care hospital features 200 staffed beds and provides a comprehensive range of outpatient and inpatient services. The facility offers interdisciplinary support including interpretation services, pharmacy, and unit secretarial staff. The outpatient clinic specializes in employee health services, providing health screenings, vaccinations, fit testing, and injury and illness prevention evaluations to support both patients and staff.
