Job Details:

* Acute care position with floating between units required
* Block schedules required
* Weekends required on a fluctuating basis, anticipated 2-4 shifts per month
* No on-call required
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* Patients served are adults with a daily census of 180
* Charting system: Epic (experience preferred)
* Scrub color: Any color; OR/Cath Lab scrubs are provided
* No parking fee
* Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required
* Trauma Level I and Trauma Level II experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS and valid state license (compact license must be in hand at submission)
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, Unit Secretary, and more
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years

This is a short-term acute care teaching hospital with 536 total staff beds and 400 unit beds. The facility offers a comprehensive interdisciplinary support system and utilizes Epic for charting.
