Job Details:
* Monday through Friday shift from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM with one weekend per month required
* Must be available to work flexible hours before and after standard shifts, overtime, or in excess of 40 hours per work week
* Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and after hours as needed
* Float to other areas and sites as needed
* Provide care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic, and other physically-related disorders
* Perform a variety of therapeutic interventions including ADL retraining, patient education in home safety, adaptive equipment and compensation techniques, coordination, strengthening and therapeutic exercise programs, manual therapy, therapeutic activities, aquatic therapy, and neuromuscular re-education
* Participate in professional responsibilities including documentation, program development, teaching, and enhancement of clinical skills
* Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient, or inpatient rehab unit preferred
* Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
* Charting system: EPIC
* Acute care setting
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
* Physical Therapist license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact required
* Dry Needling Certification required only if performing dry needling functions
* Must be within 60 miles of facility; driver's license must be submitted
* Must be present in state for week of orientation
