Job Details:

* Work in a high-volume emergency department with 101 beds
* Patient ratios of 4:1 typically for medical patients, up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds
* Technicians available in cardiac monitoring unit, internal processing area, and triage; unit clerks available days and nights
* Use Baxter pumps and GE monitors
* Document using Cerner system
* Every other weekend scheduling required; scheduling must meet the needs of the department
* No floating outside of the ED, but must be open to floating to all sections within the ED
* Follow AIDET patient experience standards, maintain respectful behavior, and keep patient boards updated throughout each visit
* Must be able to read telemetry monitors and pass the telemetry exam
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ED (100,000+ visits); previous HCA experience preferred
* Minimum 1 year of experience in an ER setting required
* Must demonstrate teamwork mentality and ability to coach and give feedback in real time
* Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED required
* Required dress code: Navy scrubs
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS (all required before start date); ENPC required within 90 days of hire
