RN - 6W Transplant Nephrology

Job Details:

* Work on a 20-bed Transplant Nephrology unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
* 3 weekend shifts required per month
* No on-call requirements
* Agency and contract nurses float first per unit floating policy
* Required dress code: Royal blue scrubs; black scrub pants permitted
* Documentation system: Meditech
* Unit secretary available during day shift, PCTs and unit educator also available
* Provide med/surg care with a focus on nephrology, kidney transplants, renal, and dialysis patients
* Dialysis procedures are performed off the unit
* Required certification: BLS
* Minimum education requirement: ADN
* Virtual nurse completes patient admissions, allowing bedside nurses to focus on direct patient care
