Opportunity:

Travel Certified Surgical/Scrub Technologist

Job Details:

* Assist surgeons and the surgical team during operative procedures by maintaining sterile technique, handling instruments and supplies, retracting tissue, supporting patient positioning, and assisting with surgical workflow
* Prepare operating rooms, instruments, equipment, and supplies to ensure readiness for scheduled procedures while maintaining a safe and organized surgical environment
* Support perioperative patient care by assisting with patient transport, positioning, specimen management, documentation processes, and postoperative preparation activities
* Participate in on-call coverage and be prepared to scrub urgent or emergent procedures within required response times
* Travelers will start on Wednesdays
* During the week of orientation, travelers on a 48-hour contract will only be guaranteed 36 hours due to midweek start
* Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program required
* Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
* Current BLS CPR certification required from the American Heart Association
* Previous operating room experience required
* Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and perioperative procedures
* Reliable personal transportation required, as public transportation is limited in the area
* Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing accommodations during their assignment
