Opportunity:

Multi-Modality Tech - Night Shift

Job Details:

* Work night shift hours Monday through Thursday from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Graduate of an accredited radiography program required (education verification required)
* ARRT registration in Radiography required
* ARRT registration in CT required
* WI-DSPS Radiographer License required
* AHA Provider BLS/CPR certification required
* Maintain active status in all modalities practiced
* Perform competently in all exams within assigned modalities
* Corroborate patient clinical history with procedure and ensure documentation is available for radiologist review
* Prepare patients for procedures, providing instructions to obtain desired results and minimize anxiety
* Select and operate imaging equipment, image capture devices, and accessories
* Position patients to best demonstrate anatomic area of interest while respecting patient ability and comfort
* Practice aseptic technique as necessary
* Prepare and administer contrast media as appropriate; start and maintain intravenous access
* Initiate basic life support actions when necessary
* Provide patient education and practical instruction for students and partners
* Assist department coordinator with clinical leadership, projects, and advanced level clinical duties
* Monitor and maintain inventory and supply control for assigned area
* Observe universal protocol, standard precautions, and appropriate patient identifiers
