Opportunity:

SIMPLIFI CLINICAL INTERVIEWING - 19 Week Contract for Holiday Contract

Job Details:

* 19-week holiday contract position
* Day or night shift available: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Every other weekend rotation required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers will be considered
* Required certifications: BLS, PALS
* Epic EMR experience preferred
* Scrub color: any color permitted; no hooded shirts or long sleeves (sleeves must be able to be pulled above the elbow)
* Must demonstrate proficiency in aseptic and sterile techniques, basic dressing changes, ventilator and trach management, suctioning, G-tube/J-tube management, feeding tubes, chest tubes, epidurals, PCAs, drip management, Foley insertion and management, and discharge skills
* CRRT experience with Prismax preferred; CICU experience preferred
* Patient population includes respiratory patients (high flow, CPAP, BiPAP), trachs, chemo, RSV, and asthma patients; medical patients including MIS-C, new onset diabetes with insulin drips, chronically ill, and oncology; trauma cases including falls and MVAs; cardiovascular congenital heart defect patients; and surgical cases including appendectomies, G-tubes, ENT, fresh trachs, bowel obstructions, broken bones, VP shunts, cardiac, and neuro
* No solid organ transplant, major burns, or stem cell transplant cases
* ECMO patients may be present; ECMO specialist will manage the ECMO machine
* CRRT cases are low volume on the unit; travelers with prior experience may take these cases after training with the Prismax
* Floating may be required to MedSurg, ED, or NICU as Helping Hands or Constant Observer

Facility:

This is a 152-bed Level II Trauma Center and Level IV NICU facility featuring 16 PICU beds with interchangeable overflow between MedSurg and PICU. The unit is a mixed specialty environment serving neuro, cardiac, respiratory, surgical, and medical patient populations. The facility provides a comprehensive range of pediatric and specialty care services, with access to advanced equipment and multidisciplinary support teams.
