Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

* Shift most likely starts at 9:00 AM, with possible start times ranging from 5:15 AM to 11:00 AM
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
* Strong IV skills required
* Experience in discharge and patient education required
* Strong assessment skills required
* Pediatric, Phase 1, and PACU experience strongly preferred but not required
* First-time travelers will be considered
* Patient types include bariatric, ENT (including pediatrics), general, gynecology, orthopedic, sports medicine, total joints, and urology; no neuro or cardiac cases
* Charting system and equipment: EPIC, Alaris, and Pyxis
* May float to alternate location if census is low; may be assigned to Phase 2 for patient discharge only
* Providers with Phase 1 experience will be utilized in PACU
* On-call follows a rotating schedule: weeknights Monday through Thursday once every 1-2 weeks (call begins after current shift, or 24-hour call starting at 7:00 AM if not working that day); weekend call Friday through Monday once every 4-6 weeks (call begins after current shift, or starts at 7:00 AM on Friday if not working that day)
* Scrubs are provided
