Job Details:

* Shift hours are 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Thursday, or five 8-hour days depending on the number of scheduled patients
* No on-call or weekend shifts required
* This is a lead position requiring the ability to work independently and alone
* Must be proficient in operating GE camera systems, including GE Infinia Hawkeye cameras
* Must be able to perform cardiac (heart) studies
* Facility primarily performs Nuclear Medicine studies and uses Nuc Trac through Cardinal Health for dose tracking
* Experience with GE operating systems is required
* Performs a wide range of Nuclear Medicine procedures including bone scans, HIDA scans, MUGA scans, nuclear cardiology, gastric emptying, renal studies, ventilation/perfusion, and more
* Must be proficient in starting and maintaining IVs and drawing venous blood
* Must be able to handle, store, and dispose of radioactive materials
* Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Patient ratio of 2 patients per day shift
* Previous charge or lead experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* 1 year of experience required; travel experience preferred
* Required certifications: CNMT (ARRT or NMTCB), BLS

Facility:

This healthcare facility is a community hospital with 142 beds and 74 rooms, serving a daily census of approximately 35 patients with around 10 visits per day in the Nuclear Medicine department. The facility offers interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, phlebotomy, and radiology, and is equipped with specialized GE Infinia Hawkeye camera technology to support a broad range of nuclear medicine imaging studies.
