Open Position: Sonographer - Cardiac Sonographer

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $3263.20

Opportunity:

Cardiovascular Sonographer / Echo Tech

Job Details:

* 8 or 10-hour shifts with schedule to be determined
* Weekend rotation with potential Saturday shifts required
* No on-call responsibilities
* 50% of holidays required during contract
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Perform TTE, TEE, Stress Echo, Bubble Study, and Contrast administration
* Work with adult patients; no pediatric ECHO
* Treat both inpatient and outpatient populations
* Unit consists of 3 ultrasound rooms, 1 stress lab, and 1 echo room
* EMR system: Cerner
* Equipment: Philips ultrasound equipment
* May float to Blue Hill Hospital and perform mobile scanning within the hospital
* Required certifications: BLS, RDCS through ARDMS or RCS through CCI
* Orientation: 1 week or less of unit orientation

Facility:

This facility is a 64-bed hospital that is not trauma designated, offering a range of inpatient and outpatient services. The cardiovascular sonography department is well-supported with resources including an IV/VAT team, respiratory therapy available 24/7, and hospitalist and intensivist coverage around the clock. The department provides a collaborative environment with access to modern imaging technology and equipment to support comprehensive cardiac diagnostic services.
