Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Room

Job Details:

* Day shift schedule working 36 or 48 hours per week
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned groups of patients according to established standards of care and nursing process
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze relevant patient data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans that prescribe interventions to attain patient outcomes
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver care in a safe and caring environment
* Participate in discharge planning to provide continuity of care
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
* Provide health information and learning opportunities to patients, families, and treatment team members
* EPIC experience required
* Holiday RTO will not be approved
* Minimum 2 years recent experience in field required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
* Acute care facility experience: Preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or TEAM-A or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
* Current RN licensure in state of practice required
