Opportunity:

CNA - Med/Surg

Job Details:

* Day shift position working 36 hours per week
* EPIC experience required
* Holiday request time off will not be approved
* Provide personal nursing care to patients under the direction of a licensed registered nurse (RN)
* Assist patients with activities of daily living including nutrition and hydration, elimination, personal care, positioning, and restorative care
* Take vital signs including pulse and blood pressure
* Assist patients with basic needs such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
* Provide assessment data to certified nurse within scope of practice including vital signs and patient verbal and nonverbal responses
* Perform a variety of clerical duties including routing patient reports as appropriate
* Use organizational and prioritization skills to keep unit running smoothly
* High School Diploma/GED preferred
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
* Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
* Minimum two years of recent experience in field required
