Opportunity:

RN - LABOR AND DELIVERY

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* 4 weekend shifts per scheduling period required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Self-scheduling model working collaboratively amongst team members
* Minimum 3 years of experience in High Risk OB required for nurses
* Current certification in Advanced EFM/AWHONN Intermediate EFM required
* Required certifications: ACLS, NRP, BLS, AWHONN IFM, CPI
* Patient ratios of 1:2 and 1:1 with transition and acuity-based adjustments
* Work within a unit featuring 12 LDR beds, 5 Antepartum beds, 4 OBED beds, and 3 OR rooms
* Operate equipment including Alaris Pumps and CADD epidural pumps
* Document using CPN and Meditech EMR systems
* Perform and assist with procedures including C-sections, SVD, D&C, D&E, twin deliveries, scheduled and nonscheduled emergent C-Hysterectomy, and Massive Transfusion
* Experience with High Risk OB including Massive Transfusion preferred
* Experience with PASD (placenta accreta spectrum disorders) preferred
* CST candidates must wear sky blue scrubs

Facility:

This facility is a Joint Commission accredited women's health center with a Maternal Designation Level III and Neonatal Level II designation, with both moving to next-level designations. The unit is supported by a highly engaged management team that regularly rounds on night and weekend shifts, and physicians who maintain strong relationships with staff. The facility also operates a main emergency department functioning as a Level II Trauma center that serves obstetrical patients with Level I and Level II injuries. The unit features a positive team culture with a good mix of tenured staff and newer nurses on both day and night shifts.

This position is open to candidates willing to travel to the assigned facility location.
