Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts in the Emergency Department
* Schedule requires 3 twelve-hour shifts per week with 6-8 weekend shifts per schedule
* Patient ratio of 4-6 patients per nurse
* Work in a 12-bed Emergency Department unit with RN and ED Tech support available 24/7
* Utilize Carefusion Alaris IV Pumps and GE bedside monitors
* Document using Cerner electronic health record system
* Required certifications: ACLS, NIH, BLS, and PALS or ENPC; TNCC preferred
* ED experience required; ICU experience preferred
* Cardiac experience required
* Must have excellent assessment skills
* Perform procedures including bedside cardioversion, procedural sedation, splinting, and assisting with intubation
* Advanced skills needed in ACLS, PALS, trauma, and cardiac care
* Required dress code: Navy scrubs with white tops
* Community ED with MD and mid-level support available 24/7
* Annual patient volume approximately 14,000 with an average acuity of 3
