TRAVEL - RN - MICU (655)

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Position located on Floor 4, Building 7 within the Medical ICU unit
* 26-bed Medical ICU unit with a staff of 65
* Patient ratio of 2:1 (estimated, never guaranteed)
* Night shift team includes Charge RN and PCT support
* Minimum 1 year of current acute care ICU RN hospital experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
* Prior Meditech/CPN EMR experience preferred
* Experience traveling to large trauma facilities preferred
* Sonographic IV (Sono IV) and CRRT experience preferred
* Perform moderate sedation and hemodynamic monitoring and airway management procedures
* Work with CRRT equipment
* Strong teamwork, coachability, adaptability, and positive attitude required

This medical center is a large acute care facility featuring a 26-bed Medical ICU unit staffed by a dedicated team of over 65 professionals. The facility supports a comprehensive range of critical care services including CRRT, moderate sedation, hemodynamic monitoring, and airway management. The unit operates with a structured team model across both day and night shifts, emphasizing collaborative patient care and maintaining a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio in the ICU setting.
