Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
* Up to 4 on-call shifts per month (end of shift to 7:00 AM)
* Schedule includes 1 weekend shift (6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Saturday or Sunday) per 4-week schedule period
* Up to one working weekend shift required every 4 weeks
* Required to work at least one holiday period: Christmas (December 24?26) or New Year's (December 31?January 1)
* May float within scope to meet facility needs or between like units and sister facilities
* Minimum 2 years of experience strongly preferred
* First-time travelers accepted
* South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
* Required certifications: BLS and Radiation Badge (to be provided by agency)
* Level 1 trauma experience required
* Scrub experience strongly preferred
* RNs are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures
* Serve patients across adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups
* Charting system: EPIC
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called-off hours can be broken down to equal 1 shift
* Block schedule available with manager approval based on unit needs
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of candidate submission

Facility:

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, and Magnet-designated hospital with 820 total staffed beds. The Main Operating Room features 21 OR suites covering all surgical specialties, including trauma, transplant, orthopedics, neurology, ENT, GU-GYN, and robotics. The nursing team consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists, operating within a busy, dynamic, nurse-driven department that provides cutting-edge technology and interdisciplinary support including interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretarial services.
