Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
* On-call required: up to 4 call shifts every 4 weeks
* Weekend coverage required: up to one working weekend shift every 4 weeks
* Holiday coverage required: must work at least one holiday period (Christmas: Dec. 24?Dec. 26 or New Year's: Dec. 31?Jan. 1)
* Float within scope to meet facility needs between like units or sister facilities as required
* Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience strongly preferred
* First-time travelers accepted
* South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
* Required certifications: BLS and Radiation Badge (radiation badge to be provided by agency)
* Level 1 trauma experience required
* Scrub experience strongly preferred; RNs are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures
* Facility covers all surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics across 21 OR suites
* Charting system: EPIC
* Scrub color: provided by facility
* Guaranteed hours: facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called off hours can be broken down to equal 1 shift
* Patients served include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support available including interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary

Facility:

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, and Magnet-designated hospital with 820 total staffed beds. The Main Operating Room is a busy and dynamic, nurse-driven department featuring 21 OR suites that cover all surgical specialties. The nursing team consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists, and the department is known for providing cutting-edge technology and comprehensive surgical care to the community.
