Job Details:
* Work 8-hour shifts scheduled either 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* Work in a Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab setting with 2 rooms
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Travel experience required
* Trauma Level II experience required
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Every other weekend required, with rotating weekend call
* Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
* Holiday coverage expected based on number of major holidays falling within assignment period
* Float within the facility and scope of practice as needed
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, CCI RCIS, ARRT R, and state license if applicable
* Epic charting system experience preferred; also uses Pyxis and SBAR
* Scrubs provided by the facility
* Key skills include: diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, PCI, PTCA, pacemaker insertion, hemodynamic monitoring, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, IVC filter placement, endovascular interventions, embolization, carotid stenting, rotablator atherectomy, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, scrub and circulate procedures, sterile technique, EKG lead placement, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
* Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, phlebotomy, rapid response teams, and interpretation services
